Chicken Noodle Soup

I successfully made food today. Nothing extravagant, but I love homemade chicken noodle soup. I need to try cooking more; I really enjoy making food. Mom helped with basic directions. It was fairly simple to make, just chopping and dicing and adding stock at the right time.

Mom says LOTS of celery makes a good chicken noodle soup great.

chop / dice 6 carrots, two entire stalks of celery, 4 cloves of garlic, and half an onion.

more diced celery.

cut chicken into cubes.

put chicken into pot with olive oil. let cook on low heat until white.

add garlic and onion. After a few minutes add stock and water.

add celery. later, add carrots. let simmer for an hour or two.

before eating bring soup to a rolling boil and cook noodles for 7-10 minutes.

served with sourdough bread rolls.
