Memphis was fun. The Liberty Bowl didn't turn out as well as I would have liked, but the fans sure showed up. I wish I could have stayed the night and hung out with Jeff and the guys, but I needed to stay at Martha's so Mom could go home and sleep. I didn't even bother trying to watch the ball drop (again, because I didn't arrive back at Martha's until 11:30)
So here are some New Years' resolutions. I have to hurry because the day is almost over and I need to practice.
Practice every day.
Memorize 5 poems.
Read at least 2 books a month.
Finish my Monet puzzle.
Compose 25 small sonatas. (with Emma)
Write 10 short stories.
Write 25 new poems.
Translate Die Zauberflote, Der Freischütz, and Grimm's fairy tales.
Learn about gardening.
Exercise daily.
Read the New Testament.
Blog 100 times.
