Lauren and Leslie and Brune went up to Fort Collins and won their auditions today. Lauren invited me and a bunch of other people out to the Dark Horse Bar and Grill, which is a really cool place for drinks. Ryan and I met halfway there, and it wasn't a far walk at all. The place was bigger than I expected and a really cool, kinda quirky place; typical Boulder style. Ryan was kind enough to buy me a few drinks, and everyone had a good time.
Amy and Emily and Lauren and I were trying to remember old childhood songs and the accompanying hand motions. I was excited people remembered a few that I grew up with.
Oh Miss Susie had a steamboat, the steamboat had a bell, Miss Susie went to heaven and the steamboat went to hell-o operator, please give me number nine...
And then the one about Mary Mack, with the elephants that jumped so high they touched the sky.
Kate and Adrian came and said hi but didn't stay long. When Lauren, Amy and JiHye left (their roommate came to pick them up) Ryan, Emily, Joey and I played a few rounds of foosball and then a game of pool. It was a ton of fun and I'm so happy here having such great friends.
People are going hiking at Chautauqua tomorrow so I better get some rest.
