This week I was horribly sick Monday - Wednesday. It was almost 60 hours of continual pain. There was nothing more desirable than sleep because it was my only escape. I only ate two cups of Jello, about a dozen saltine crackers, two glasses of ginger ale, and a few spoonfuls of soup. I couldn't stop burping and the pain of indigestion wasn't touched by the 12 Tums tablets I took. It was the most miserable time of my life.
It has been a rough spring for my health, and between my annual battle with allergies and this bout of some stomach virus I am much more conscious of how big a blessing your health is. "At least you have your health" actually means something to me now.
I know I'm not ambitious but I'm never happy if I don't work for long periods of time. I have not gotten nearly as much done as I had hoped to get done. I definitely don't want to bring my tv with me to Colorado. Working and going to school will be very intense, but I think that it's sink or swim time, and that I need to get my shit together.
