San Francisco Conservatory of Music

So I just applied to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

The application was a much bigger pain in the butt than the other two applications. I suppose that's to be expected from a bigger music school. I'm nervous about the entire thing, but I love the city and I figure having a third audition is good. Who knows if I'll be accepted into any of these schools, so one or two more would be even better, but that's not going to happen now.

I'm trying to figure out if I can defer, assuming I am accepted (a big assumption) until I find out if I can study back in Vienna again. Ben finally got back to me with some more info, and it looks like I'll have to do a live audition in June or September. Barbara already said she'd take me back, so it's more of a formality. Obviously I want it to go much better than my last audition for her. *shudders*

Because of SFCM, I now also have to learn the first movement of a Mozart Concerto. I picked no. 4 in D major. I'm not sure I really studied no. 5, actually. I need to start practicing again and talk to Professor Teal about some more lessons. I hope I haven't set myself up for failure, but I think I did need to push myself harder.
