I am beginning to run out of Whose Line is it Anyway? videos to watch, having stayed up until 6 am this morning. I thought it'd be fun to try my hand at some short, simple, improvisatory hoedowns. I tried to write them out as quickly as possible, but they weren't really instantaneously composed.
I was hoping they would turn out to be humorous, but once I edited my thoughts to make some sort of sense, they have turned out to be just a bit ridiculous. I have always thought of improv as a great way to shake off your inhibitions. Anyway, here are my first four. Hope they are silly enough to be entertaining.
If you're not familiar with the format, here's a good example of a Whose Line? hoedown.
Beau (my Bichon Frise)
I really love my puppy
I don't know what I'd do
If he were to run away,
I'd cry a lot - boo hoo!
He may be the best friend
That I've ever known,
Greeting me with kisses
Whenever I come home.
Cooking
I have lots of fun
Cooking in the kitchen,
I make tons of yummy food
When my stomach's bitchin'.
It helps me to relax
Since cooking is a breeze.
Though most of the time
I only eat mac and cheese.
Zombies
I saw on tv one day
A horrible news story.
The dead were eating brains,
It was so very gory.
The games I played helped me
To survive the dead,
I planted flowers by my door
That shot them in the head.
Donkey
One time I saw some donkeys,
They were so nice to see,
Standing by the fence
Waiting to greet me.
They looked so sweet
I didn't see any harm
In petting them, but
Ouch! One bit my arm!
