Monet

While at Barnes and Noble a few days ago I found a puzzle of Monet's  The Japanese Footbridge, 1899. I hope it will help keep me busy and away from the tv. It's 1000 pieces. I started putting it together last night while listening to Rob Inglis' reading of Lord of the Rings.

What have I gotten myself into?

Also, I finally steamed some rice for a snack with kimchi. I'm starting to doubt that I can finish such a large jar of kimchi, but it was the smallest size in the Korean store. Now I need to find a recipe for marinading Bulgogi.

It's nice having a day off. Dad and I set 5 more fence posts in concrete yesterday, and I am so sore. I went up to watch Grace and Hazard so that Brian could run to the store and the bank. Grace can swing all by herself now, and she is good at baseball. I love seeing the leaves change, and when I have another free day I hope to take a hike somewhere, maybe around the Natchez Trace.
