Rachel, Robbie and I played in our last performance class today. It was good, but not great. Unfortunately, because of where we were in the program, we had to miss hearing both Leslie's and Ryan's quartets. Now all I have left to focus on is my jury on Saturday. I do have to make a presentation and I do have work on Thursday. But I'm not nearly as concerned about those things as learning the last movement of Sibelius and rememorizing the last movement of Bach A minor sonata.
However, I'm just tired and hungry most of the time. All I want to do is go home and see family and friends and relax. I invited people out to dinner tomorrow for my birthday. When I thought about what I'd like, I immediately thought of Korean food. I'm really looking forward to it! Robbie, Adrian, Tee, Kate, and Callie should be going. I guess I'll have to squeeze everyone into my car and try not to get pulled over.
On Saturday after it's all over (including work...) people are definitely interested in hanging out and getting a drink. I think we should do something nice for Ryan to thank him for playing host so many times. Not sure exactly what. I can't believe they have me scheduled for work Sunday from 12 - close. I will be happy for the money, but it's going to be a busier last day that I wished. My flight leaves Monday at 5 and Martha should be picking me up from the airport. I'll have to plan to pack carefully so that I don't forget anything here that I'll need to take to China. Time to eat dinner and then get back to practicing tonight.
